I love looking out the cockpit during final approach and seeing the city slowly drifting by under the aircraft as more and more details are visible, but then when motion reprojection quits working and then a second or two go by and the buildings skips by its aggravating. Plus a lot of people say its pretty similar to adjusting the render scale slider. I havn’t tried NIS yet because I’m a little burnt out all in the intricacies and nuances this sim needs. Yes, things judder as you bank but if you look closely enough you can still see the same discrepancy when MR is working. Very distant objects will flicker slightly. Now I use no Motion Reprojection, OXR100, TAA80, lock frames to 30 via Nvidia CP and just enjoy flying again, the clarity boost from not having motion reprojection is welcomed and so is the lack of wobbling artifacts. With some cards,(Riva 128 in particular) enabling this will cause flickering of textures and skins, but may increase performance a nice amount. I wanted to love motion reprojection and sometimes it works but the vast majority of the time its “in and out” and when it wont work consistently its so much worse than just getting used to it with it turned off. Similar system here, i5 9600k at 5GHz, 32GB RAM, NVME, 3080FTW Ultra.
